NUTECH INDUSTRIAL – LIFT (ELEVATOR) UPS
NUTECH INDUSTRIAL – LIFT (ELEVATOR) UPS
6kVA – 100 kVA 3-phase Input, 3-phase Output
A Transformer-based rugged LIFT UPS manufactured for tough environments
Today, Lifts (Elevators) & Escalators play a vital role in daily living. In fact, most governing bodies in Cities, Malls already require an Elevator & Escalator in buildings for the convenience of the public. With the need for Lifts (Elevators) & Escalators and particularly the increase in multi-level buildings there has emerged the requirement for Lift UPS (emergency power) to ensure that Lifts (Elevators) continue to function properly even when there is an outage so as to ensure public safety. Also, it is mandatory to have a Lift UPS installed at your premises in order to prevent major damages or accidents such as an Elevator getting stuck at high altitude, etc., NUTECH has over 30 years of experience in providing advance power solutions for safe & managed power through its existing range of NUTECH – INDUSTRIAL LIFT (Elevator) UPS System 6 kVA – 100 kVA, 3-phase Input, 3-phase Output. NUTECH is committed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
What is LIFT (Elevator) UPS?
LIFT (Elevator) UPS or also called ELOS (Emergency Lift Operating System) is specially designed to run 3- phase Electrical Motors by handling high Inrush Current of the Motors. LIFT (Elevator) UPS is an OFF-LINE UPS which has 3 main parts namely – Charger, Inverter and Batteries. As majority of Lifts (Elevators) use 3-phase power supply, a lift UPS takes 3-phase supply and powers the Lift (Elevator) while charging the Batteries at the same time. This electronic device can be better described as an effective power backup solution for Lifts (Elevators). In case of a power cut, the Inverter turns on Battery mode and generates 3-phase Output to feed the load. This transition takes place within a time period of 15 – 20 seconds depending upon the configuration of the variable frequency drive (VFD / V3F) used by the Lift (Elevator). When the Mains supply or Utility gets restored, the Elevator is transferred automatically to Mains supply and Battery starts Charging. An elevator UPS is manufactured by taking several important factors into consideration such as the duration of a common power cut, capacity of the lift motor, type of elevator, whether it would be used in a residential or commercial area, etc. Depending upon the Battery sizing (Ah of the Batteries) the backup time can be extended from 2 Hours to any backup time required.
NUTECH UPS front panel is equipped with LCD Display indicating the UPS operating status and parameters of Input – Voltage, Current, Frequency, Battery – Voltage, Charging Current, Output – Voltage, Current, Frequency and other important information such as Alarms and Indications.
