NUTECH has over 30 years of experience in providing advance power solutions for safe & managed power through its existing range of NUTECH – PRS (PARALLEL REDUNDANT SYSTEM) n + 1 Configuration 5 kVA – 40kVA PRS Online UPS  1-phase Input, 1-phase Output. NUTECH is committed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

NUTECH – PRS (PARALLEL REDUNDANT SYSTEM) n + 1 configuration solutions are commonly used to protect mission-critical applications in data centres, industrial sites and larger business operations. The main principle behind a Parallel Redundant UPS system is that it can continue to support the critical load should one or more UPS modules fail. Which means it can achieve higher availability and MTBF (mean time between failure).  In addition, this also enables UPS maintenance to take place without interrupting the load. Modules can be powered down for servicing while the remaining UPS continue supporting the load.

How do parallel UPS systems work?

During normal operation, each UPS shares and balancing the load equally, means synchronizing the output of each UPS so it can flow into a shared output. Similarly, when the UPS system needs to run on batteries, each UPS will still share the load as each module has its own battery set, rather than a shared common battery. If any of the UPS modules in a parallel-redundant configuration fails or experiences an internal fault, it automatically disconnects from the output AC busbar, while the remaining active UPS continue sharing the load.

A rugged SCR (Thyristorised) Bridge Rectifier cum Charger with Built in solid state Automatic float-cum boost Charger with Constant Voltage and Constant Current mode of Charging along with current limiting features are provided. The latest generation state-of-the-art IGBT Bridge in Inverter technology with Instantaneous Sine Wave Control & adaptive PWM technique is used. A key advantage of this technology is that no de-rating of the UPS Power is required when driving non-linear loads.

NUTECH UPS front panel is equipped with LCD Display indicating the UPS operating status and parameters of Input – Voltage, Current, Frequency, Battery – Voltage, Charging Current, Output – Voltage, Current, Frequency and other important information such as Alarms and Indications.

Due to the Double Conversation technique & Inbuilt Galvanic Isolation Transformer, (Neutral is Electrically and physically Isolated from the Input Power Circuit / Utility Neutral) which ensures no spike & surge in the output. The effective screening of Noises, Transients etc., by the ideally designed filters ensures the output is free from EMI /RFI, which complies all the EMC standards thus providing full safety to the very critical equipments.
